STRAIGHT MODULAR DUCT:

Straight duct is available in 1500 mm standard lengths, 300 mm telescopics and 50mm spigot/adaptors.

CONSTRUCTION:

Airtight standard Straight Duct is available in 1.5mtr lengths of galvanised mild steel.  This makes it durable, easy to install, handle and transport.

The patented rolled edge greatly improves the rigidity of the duct making it very difficult to deform or become elipticle.  This also means storing and transporting the duct is safer and results in less damage.

Each piece is joined using a unique OCL (over centre lever) "Quick-Fit" clamp that has no fiddly nuts and bolts and requires no tools to secure. The supplied "R" clip keeps the clamp locked tight.

Use a QF Telescopic Slip Duct to achieve adjustable lengths.  These can also be used as a standard  300mm short piece of duct.

Sizes (Ø mm) :  100, 125, 140, 160, 180, 200, 250 , 315 manufactured in 0.7 mm galvanised mild steel.

Sizes (Ø mm) :  350, 400, 450, 500, 560 ,630 ,710 ,800 ,900 ,1000 manufactured in 0.9 mm galvanised mild steel.

On special order, Quick-Fit and flanged ducting can also be supplied in 2mm Painted or Stainless Steel.

INSTALLATION:

Many of our customers now do their own modifications as handling and installing the ducting is so easy with Quick-Fit.  The time saved by not needing spanners or Allen Keys, no sharp edges and managable lengths can make installing up to 500 dia ducting possible by one person on a scissor or boom lift.  Of course it is a lot easier with two but with the Airtight Quick-Fit ducting you can more easily for further and faster with less.

We recommend ...

• Hang a piece at a time.  No need to lay it out and connect them on the floor.  It is much easier and quicker 1.5mtrs at at time.  You'll be surprised how far you can go in no time at all.
• Install your duct hangers as you move along ... cover the same ground once.  HANDY HINT: Ask us about  the easiest hanger system available.
• Use a level to keep you on the straight and narrow  ... a good eye-cromitor comes free with experience.
• Cut specific or shorter lengths with a Jig Saw, cordless if you have one.  While it is still quite noisy, it generates fewer hot sparks and once praticed are more easily handled than a grinder.  HANDY HINT:  Using the Airtight Quick-Fit Telecopic Slip Joint makes measuring and cutting the correct length so much easier.
