S-IMPELLER FANS

Centrifugal fans with impeller type S for dust-laden air and air with smaller solid particles. This fan type is suitable for commercial and industrial ventilation and industrial processing in the medium pressure range with dust concentrations and pneumatic conveying of smaller quantities of solid materials, D185e.g. at extraction of welding fumes, conveying of wood waste and dust etc.

Max. material quantity D1850,1 g/m3 and max. grain size 20x20x40 mm.

Air temperature - 20°C to 70°C.

The fan has a high efficiency up to 80%.

Capacity
Air quantities from 0.2 to 40 m3/s and total pressures up to 9700 Pa.

Construction
The fan is supplied in belt or direct driven design with varying outlet positions.

The fan consists of+D185 a heavy-duty casing, inlet cone, impeller and motor.
Direct driven fans are either provided with a flange motor mounted D185 on the casing (D1) or - for larger types - with flange/foot mounted motor mounted on a pedestal (D2).

Belt driven fans are supplied with a bearing pedestal and - for smaller types - with motor mounted above bearing pedestal (G5 and G5A) or on base plate together with the fan (G6).

Larger sizes in belt drive design are supplied as standard with motor mounted low on common base
frame front plate of the impeller.

The fans are available with 4 impeller sizes with corresponding inlet openings in the front plate of the impeller and diameters on the inlet plate. Thus a large number of combina-tions of the ratio between air quantities and pressure capacities can be obtained.

Impeller Sizes
The ratio between the opening size in the front plate and impeller diameter is part of the fan, e.g. S63-315 where S states the impeller type, the figure 63 indicates the size of the impeller and the figure 315 relates to the diameter of the inlet cone.
